He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Bowyer; and his brother Claude Bowyer Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Billy Bowyer (Angie) of Sellersburg, Indiana, Donnie Bowyer (Tammy) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Karen Jeakins (Mike) of New Washington, Indiana.; his brother Jimmie Bowyer (Rhonda) of Louisville, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Maegan Knasel, Josh Bowyer, Ashley Howerton (Matt), Lauren Bowyer, Rebecca Nash, Kelsey Bowyer, Kalena White (Kendall) and Michaela Jeakins; and his great grandchildren, Tylar, Audrey, Jules, Serenity, Jaxon, Patterson and Hailey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church (19616 IN-62, Marysville, IN 47141).
