He is survived by: his wife Ina Hodge-Owen; his children, Amy Owen-Kriel, Frank Ray Owen Jr. (Amanda) and Jennifer Nicole Owen; his grandchildren, Gavin Kriel, Gabrielle Owen, Conner Owen and Grayson Owen; and his sisters, Nona Payne (Stephen), Norma Cash and Frances Goforth (Roger). He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
