James A. Ennis Obituary
The memory of James A. Ennis of Charlestown, Indiana, who passed away on June 10, 2025 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his father Warren J. Ennis; and his fellow Marine. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Pierce Ennis; his wife Donna Kopp; his children, April Haymaker (Junior), Amy Carver (Rusty) and Jacob Ennis; his grandchildren, Tyler Cranmer (Jason), Trace Haymaker, Blake Stewart (Brittany), Zack Haycraft and Cooper Haycraft; his brother Donald (Tracy); and his friends, German Short Haired Pointer and Tibby. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A masonic service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jim's memory to Charlestown Police Department's Shop with a Cop program or the Charlestown Fire Department's Crusade for Children collection.
