James Harbin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Harbin of Charlestown, Indiana, born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Harbin, Sr. and Virgie Brison Harbin; and his brothers, Junior Harbin, Albert Harbin and Gary Harbin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Belcher (Earl), Vicky Street (John) and Teresa Day (Jimmy Kolle); his brother Larry Harbin (Patty); his grandchildren, Jeremey VanOver (Rebecca), Ryan Day (Kristy), Tonya Walston (Jeremiah) and Erin Hearn (Dereck); his great grandchildren, Dakota Vanover, Matthew Walston (Lexie), Caleb Walston and Lillian Vanover; and his great great grandchildren, Ayla and Mylen. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111).
