With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karissa D. VanMeter of Charlestown, Indiana, born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis C. VanMeter and Helen C. VanMeter (Brishaber). She is survived by: her children, Christopher Zollman (Sidney) of Scottsburg, IN and Marissa D. Doan (Brent); her grandchildren, Garrett Zollman (Molly), Jonathan Barrett, Jordan Browning, Dakota Zollman, Mikayla Doan, Allison Doan and Julia Polley; her great grandchildren, Londynn Zollman and Houston Zollman; her brother James A. VanMeter; and her niece Haley VanMeter.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations in honor of Karissa be made to support funeral expenses.
