He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Slusher and Bertha Slusher; his sisters, Alta Sadow and Pauline King; his half-sisters, Sally Mae McGinty and Mabel Hutton; his brothers, Bradley "BJ" Slusher and Larry Slusher; and his stepsons, Morey Russell and Barry Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Slusher of Seymour; his children, Michael Ray Slusher and Elizabeth Ann Adkins (Leonard); his grandchildren, Brianna Hall, Christopher Slusher, Shelby Mills and Leonard Adkins Jr.; his great grandchildren, Madeline and Eric; his stepchildren, Peggy L. Culp (Tony) and Joey Russell; his stepgrandchildren, Hillary Ball (Bobby), Corey Russell, Jeremy Russell, Cassie Russell and Chance Russell; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Oscar Ball, Caleb Russell, Braden Russell and Keagan Russell; and his siblings, Dale Slusher, Randall Slusher (Brenda), Sue Kinnaird (Bruce) and Doris Stobaugh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
