He was predeceased by: his parents, Creighton Pool and Mary Pool (Elmore); and his brother Edwin Pool. He is survived by: his children, Scott Alan Pool (Sara) of Scottsburg, IN, John Derrick Pool of Seattle, WA, Caleb Michael Pool (Dana) of Evansville, IN, Jennifer Ann Lowry (Jamie) of Scottsburg, IN and Sara Marie Chavarry (Jonathan) of Charlestown, IN; his sister Carol Short (Ronnie) of Memphis, IN; and his grandchildren, Riley Pool, Morgan Pool, Reese Lowry, Andrew Lowry, Sophia Chavarry, Clara Chavarry, Leia Chavarry, Nahum Chavarry, Abraham Chavarry and Judah Chavarry.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
