He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Meredith and Katherine Meredith; his brother David Meredith; his sister-in-law Shirley Meredith; his parents-in-law, Claud Lyon and Ruth; his brothers-in-law, Frank E Lyon and John Peterworth; and his nephew Kevin Roy Meredith.

He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his sisters, Doris Bowen (Danny), Linda Morrow (Jerry) and Martha Smith (Chris); his daughter-in-law Michelle Meredith; his children, Frank Elliot Meredith and Melody Ruth Flowers (William); his sister-in-law Marlene E Lyon; his grandchildren, Angela Meredith, Becky Jackson (Tim), Johnny Lyon (Efren), Robert Roy Flowers (Audrey), Alex Meredith (Jessica), Taylor Meredith, Lea Meredith, Peyton Meredith and Cammie Marcum (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Ethan Ray Bridgewater, Raelynn Meredith, Emma Jackson, Lexi Jackson, Eli Elliot Jackson, Wesson Meredith, Remmington Meredith, Jackson Marcum and Emma Nevaeh Marcum.
