With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Shackelford of Charlestown, Indiana, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 5, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Shackelford to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Crittenden "Purple" Shackelford and Margaret Shackelford; and his siblings, Mike Shackelford and Markettia York. He is survived by: his wife Amber Zollman Shackelford; his children, Kayla Schaeffer (Phil) of Charlestown, Joshua Stutesman (Lauren) of Charlestown and Bradley Stutesman of Charlestown; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Emerson Stutesman, Nova and Nixon Schaeffer; his sister Maxine Vires of Mt. Washington, KY; his niece Tammy Kilner (Kevin) of Charlestown; his nephew Tyler York (Ashley) of Charlestown; and his in-laws, Don and Beverly Zollman of Charlestown.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the Old Salem Cemetery.
