It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgie Ellen Bush of Charlestown, Indiana, born in Gays Creek, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Spicer and Rosie Smith Spicer; her son Stewart Lee Bush; and her siblings, Pearlie Mc Clery, Adilene Campbell, Jane Dean, Jack Spicer, James Spicer, Samuel Spicer and Eugene Spicer.
She is survived by: her husband LaRue Bush; and her siblings, Shirley Wright and Dale Spicer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wesley Chapel (6240 N Bogardus Rd, Austin, IN 47102).
