He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Payne (Sweet); his sons, Christopher Brinson (Donna) of Greenfield and Gregory Brinson (Amanda) of Charlottesville; his grandchildren, Devyn Brinson (Alex), Mason Brinson, Jacob Richardson, Jonathan Richardson, Madison Miller, Morgan Miller and Logan Hoskins; his nieces, Chasity Kindler (Kris) and Melissa Payne; his nephew Steven "Cooter" Payne; and his close friend Gary Ross. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
