Jerry Ralph Ward Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Ralph Ward of Chesterton, Indiana, born in Effingham, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy M. Kuhns and William S. Kuhns; and his grandson Daniel McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Betty Showen; his brothers, Donald Kuhns (Marion) of Manhattan Beach, CA and Phillip Kuhns (Debra) of Wheatfield, IN; his grandchildren, Dean Jackson (Jessica), Kayla Miller, Collin Miller and Alicia Marshall; and his great grandchild Finnley Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to VNA Hospice or Alzheimer's & Dementia Services of Northern Indiana, Inc.
