She was predeceased by : her parents, Forest Scurlock and Catherine Scurlock (Dudek); her former life partner Charles Johnson; and her brothers, Richard Scurlock and Dwayne Scurlock.

She is survived by : her children, Diana Burgess (Kevin) of Chesterton, IN, Michael Johnson (Sheila) of Goshen, IN and Paul Johnson of Williamston, SC; her grandchildren, Lindsey Burgess of Chesterton, IN, Jacob Johnson (Cassie) of Belton, SC and Joel Johnson (Keilee) of Williamston, SC; her great grandchildren, Tyce Johnson, Evelyn Johnson and Logan Johnson; her siblings, Terry Scurlock (Kathy) and Barbara Goldsmith (Hudon); and her husband Chuck.
