She was predeceased by : her parents, Allen Brown and Margaret Brown (Wyland); her husband James R. Howard; and her son Ralph LaBarr. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Gabrielle VanDenburgh (Jessica), Molly Cannon (Brandon Lortz), Bee Blozis (Kyle Finnigan), Seth Rogers, Alan Rogers, Emma Howard, Beth Fitzsimmons (Patrick) and Ryan Blozis (Johanna); and her siblings, Allen, Ralph, David, John Brown, Marguerite and Susan. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Graceland Cemetery (1505 Morthland Dr, Valparaiso, IN 46383).
