He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Diana Turnipseed and Michele Durkin. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Durkin and Nicole Durkin; his sister Isabel Durkin; his great-grandparent Alice J. Allen; his grandfathers, David W. Turnipseed and Michael G. Durkin; his aunts and uncles, John, Kimberly Tancos, Eric and Amanda Carpenter; and his cousins, Gabriel Carpenter, McKenzie Carpenter, Easton Tancos and Vincent Tancos.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Porter County Suicide Prevention and Awareness Task Force (https://www.facebook.com), or the Alzheimer's Association.
