He was predeceased by : his parents, William Ling and Leona Ling (Prochno); his wife Lilah Louise Ling (Wilson); and his siblings, William "Dean" Ling, Pat Locke, Kay Monroe and Dave Ling.
He is survived by : his children, Teresa Danskin of Chesterton, Paul Ling Jr. of Chicago and Ricky Ling (Kim) of Porter; his grandchildren, Andrew Underwood (Carissa), Candace Arvin, Sarah Ling (Mark), Madison Ling and Sommer Topolski; his great grandchildren, Dante, Dakota Arvin, Ogden and Brieanna Underwood; and his siblings, Tom Ling, Larry Ling, Nancy Jarnecke, Sue Coberly and Kathy Howe.
