He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Lester Scott and Monita Pugh Williams; his pet Goldie; his stepfather Jake Williams; his son Michael Scott; and his siblings, Bill Scott, Marge Troke, Katie Gardener, Sally Mooney and Hazel Castle.
He is survived by: his pet Jake; his wife Thelma Scott; his children, Barbara Pinks (Roger), Darrin Scott (Amy) and Lynn Wilke (Dru); his brother Jerry Scott (Loretta); and his grandchildren, Thomas Scott (Olga), Rachel Blackwood, David Holm (Elizabeth), Lauren Scott, Adrienne Rosenbaum (Kyle), Kaiti Scott, Alexis Akers (Dakoda), Carter Savage, Samantha Savage and Abbey Wilke. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services (602 Maple Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
