It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Devon Craig of Churubusco, Indiana, born in Madison, Indiana, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Craig and Helen Schneider (Ogden); his wife Wanda Lou Craig (Johnson); his son Walter Craig; and his grandson Walker Evans Lesley-Craig.
He is survived by: his children, Verlin Craig (Valerie) of Churubusco, Indiana, Melissa Sandager of Churubusco and Monica Craig of Howe, Indiana; his brother Gaylan Craig of Plymouth, Indiana; his daughter-in-law Kristina Craig of Warsaw, Indiana; and his pet Diamond Blue. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
