She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin and Marie Estella Addis, Sr. (Claxton); her daughter-in-law Rhonda Bridegan; and her brothers, John Addis, Jr. and Jim Addis.
She is survived by: her husband Elvin Bridegan; her children, John Bridegan, Jennie Collingsworth (Richard) and Jacki Johnson (Michael); and her siblings, Jerry Addis (Gloria) and Grace Slater. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
