He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Skinner and Anna Jane Skinner (Burry). He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Skinner; his daughters, Lisa Johnston (Rodney), Julie Farmer (Michael) and Amy Carter (Patrick); his siblings, Joseph Skinner (Annabeth) and Anne Ledger (Adrian); his grandchildren, Trent Johnston, Alyssa Manth (Chase), Haleigh Shaw (Austin), Austin Lowe (Heather), Shayna Lowe, Brooke Terrian (Michael) and Seth Carter; and his great grandchildren, Cecileah, Juniper Johnston, Brecken, Emrie, Myah Manth, Gatlin, Gracelynn, Garrett Lowe, Layla Friend, Liam Warner, Alydia, Addie, Carter and Nelson Terrian.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sugar Grove Church of God (5019 E 500 S-57, Churubusco, IN 46723). Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Merriam Christian Chapel Cemetery (4066 S Oak St, Albion, IN 46701).
