We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Shirley Claxton of Churubusco, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Yant and Lois Yant (Hull); her husband William; her sister Jane Koenig; and her sons-in-law, Tom Alberding and David James.

She is survived by: her children, Martha Coffing (Bill), James "Jim" Claxton (Joy), Mary James, Becky Clapp (Ric), Debbie Gemple and Lori Troyer (Randy). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Acre's Land Trust or Riley Children's Hospital.
