He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thompson and Opal Thompson (Blount); his siblings, Harry and Peggy; and his daughter-in-law Sherri Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Thompson; his children, Doug Thompson (Cindy), Chris Thompson (Andrea Kidd) and Jill Trahin (Sam); his brother Dick Thompson (Louann); his grandchildren, Krystal Hurley, Gabe Jacks (Colleen), Megan Kemery (Joshua), Brad Thompson (Jannelle), Mandy Trahin, Kendra Greve (Shea), Stacie Trahin (Cal Jacquay) and Sara Howard (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Chelsea, Mason, Lucas, Loghan, Jayden, Sadie, Penelope, Beau, Jaxton, Elliana, Charlotte, Sully and Cooper.
