He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurin Day and Naomi Yager (Gilbert); and his brother Don Yager. He is survived by: his spouse Lorele Dixon; his sons, Larry Yager (Colleen) and Kirk Yager; his daughter-in-law Tanya Yager; his grandchildren, Eric, Annamarie and Joel Yager; and his sister Ellen Snyder. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed collecting scrap metal for recycling and donating the proceeds, collecting old sporting goods, biking, as well as attending auctions, garage sales, and flea markets.
