It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Glessner of Cicero, Indiana, born in Peru, Indiana, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Glessner and Doris Butler; and his brother Mike Glessner. He is survived by: his children, Richard Glessner and Jody Butler; and his grandchildren, Brody Bryant and Tori Butler.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hartley-Dunnichay Funeral Home (209 W Jackson St, Cicero, IN 46034). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
