With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane Stern of Cicero, Indiana, born in Noblesville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Stern and Florence Foulton; his brother Dale Stern; and his former wife MaBeth Stern. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Waltz-Stern; his children, Zachary Stern and Jennifer Lawson (Mark); his grandchildren, Kaleb Stern, Klara Stern, Matthew Lawson, Hayley Lawson and Hannah Lawson; his great grandchild Ronin Stern (Marlow Stern); and his siblings, Lucy Smith (Scott), Diana Heiss (Eldon), Sam Stern, Kenneth Stern (Ellen), Bonnie O'Neil (Jim) and Rex Stern (Sue). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
