He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Henry and Mary Etta Henry (McDaniel); his wife Gerry Louise Bowser; and his brothers, Jack and John.

He is survived by: his children, Gregg (Heidi), Jennifer (Kevin) and Tracy; his grandchildren, Todd Elliott (Cassidy), Katie Pence and Allie Boles (Josh); his great grandchildren, Graham, Mila and Sodeska; his sister Joyce McClimon (Stan); and his sisters-in-law, Donna Flora (John), Phyllis Keeler and Jackie Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
