He was predeceased by: his parents, LaFairie Hale and Ruth Elizabeth Hale (Blazier); and his stepfather Forest O. Smith (Hale). He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Sue Warner (Hale) and Delcie Rose Loller (Smith); his wife Margaret (Zook); and his friend Martha Douthitt. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
