He is survived by: his wife Betty Schildmeier (Womack); his sons, Jimmy Schildmeier of Atlanta and Bryan Schildmeier (Diana) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Heather Sylte (Derek), James Schildmeier (Heidi), Craig Schildmeier and Brianna Schildmeier; and his great grandchild Sophia Sylte. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hartley-Dunnichay Funeral Home (209 W Jackson St, Cicero, IN 46034). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
