He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Mayfield and Ralph Mayfield; his son Ralph Jr.; his sisters, Phyllis Dill, Rachel Ross, Betty Kaiser and Maryann Leach; and his grandson Christoper Mayfield.
He is survived by: his sons, Tracey Mayfield (Beth) and Darrell Mayfield (Andrea); and his brother David Mayfield. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
