She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Ira Nickerson and Hattie Mae Nickerson (McKain); her husband Frank E. Ray, Jr. of Clarksburg; her siblings, Jane Roberson, Thelma Gates and John Nickerson; her son-in-law Norbert Smith; and her grandson-in-law Denny Woodall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ruth Ray Duncan of Trafalgar and Wanda Ray Smith of Fort Myers, Florida.; her grandchildren, Chris Smith (Susan), Jennifer Benefiel (Robert), Cindy Stowell (Jason) and Lindsay Wheeler (Travis); her great grandchildren, Scott Smith, Jacob Woodall (Alisa), Sam Woodall, Eli Woodall, James Black, Evelyn Black, Ethan Stowell, Ella Stowell and Mira Wheeler; and her brother David Nickerson (Mary).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
