She was predeceased by: her father Robert Hamm; and her aunts, Doris Hines Holmes and Ruth Street. She is survived by: her children, Aisha Goldman and Levi Gaines; her grandchildren, Jennifer Goldman, Tyler Goldman, Bentley Gaines, Addy Gaines, Athena Gaines and Eva Harbeson; her mother Ruby Hamm; her siblings, Michael Hamm, Marsha Zackchewski, Sandy Sandoval, Cindy Kelley, Johnna Pearson and Robert "Bob" Hamm Jr.; and her close friend Loni Robinson.
