He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Rice (Greg), Curtis D. Hambrick (Devon) and Roslyn Hambrick; his grandchildren, Devin Offutt, Chandler Hambrick and Cameron Hambrick; and his siblings, Deidra Young and Eric Young. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Howard Chapel Baptist Church (1715 E Market St, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
