He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Bertram and Mildred Siler Bertram; his wife Laura Lee Sandy Bertram; and his sisters, Edna Mae Bertram, Ruth Maish, Ramona Piercy and Anita Davies.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Bertram Weber (Brad) of Indiana, Debbie Bertram Luber (Robert) of Indiana, Jessica Bertram (Michael Mattox) of Indiana and Brandon Mattingly (Sara) of Michigan; and his siblings, Ron Bertram of Kentucky and Marilyn Koger (Jack) of Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
