The passing of John C. Hembree Sr. of Clarksville, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 82. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alfred Hembree and Ena Myrtle Thompson; and his wife Imogene. He is survived by: his girlfriend Elaine Hornyack; his sons, John Charles Hembree, Jr., Joseph Hembree (Chelsie) and Robert "DeWayne" Gross (Jan); his sister Jeanne Emerick; his grandchildren, Madison Hembree, Chance Gross, Austin, Dillon Gross and Peighton Gross; and his pet Bandit.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gallatin (100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks for donations to be made to St. Croix Hospice in Jefferson, Indiana.
