He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dawson (Niehaus); his children, Ron Dawson (Kim), Nick Dawson and Shannon Heacox (Kyle); his stepdaughters, Sara Elmore (Thomas) and Renee Davis (Micah); his mother Lois Virginia Dawson (Stevens); his siblings, Zack, Clay Dawson, Val Vertrees and Kelly Setser; and his grandchildren, Alex Stigger, Emmie Elmore, Landon Davis, Logan Davis and Audrey Davis.
