It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua Christopher Simpson of Clarksville, Indiana, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, David, Martha Kremer Gillooly, Arthur, Thelma Johnson Simpson and Joseph Hood.
He is survived by: his parents, Marvin Lee and Elizabeth Ann "Bettyann" Gillooly Simpson; his brother Sean Simpson (Sara Cooke); his nieces, Saylor Simpson and Hayleigh Underhill; his aunts and uncles, Nancy, David Hartshorne, Mike, Diane Gillooly, Liz Bower and Charlie Simpson; and his cousins, Jeremy, Jessica Bower, Justin Simpson, Hannah, Mark Hartshorne, Rebekah Holloway, Katie Riddle, Michael Gillooly II, Waylon Hartshorne and Delaney Pitts.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
