With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Harold Burger of Clarksville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Burger and Edna Burger; his wife JoAnne Burger; his daughter Saundra Burger; and his brother Thomas Burger.
He is survived by: his son Greg Burger (Carol); his grandchildren, Brian Gray, Kyle Burger (Bre), Erin Gray and Allyson Sherrier (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Carsen and Riley; and his brothers, James Burger and Jacob Burger. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations be made to , the V Foundation for Cancer Research (www.v.org) or the American Brain Tumor Association (www, abta, org or give.abta.org) to help continue the fight to find cures to cancer.
