He is survived by: his wife Liz Van Cleave (Leach) of Clarksville; his children, Amy Jo Van Cleave of Jeffersonville, Dustin Van Cleave (Lauren Smith) of New Albany and Ira Smith of Clarksville; his brother Mitchell Van Cleave (Kelly) of Clarksville; his son-in-law Dr. Kevin White; his grandchildren, Bodi, Milo, Baz and Patch; and his pet Liz.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org to benefit those affected by the 9/11 attacks on America.
