In loving memory of Thomas H. Scantland Sr. of Clarksville, Indiana, who departed this world on August 30, 2025 at the age of 92. Thomas leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scantland and Ida Scantland; and his siblings, Frances Estes, Byron Scantland, Hazel Hampton, Thelma Blehar, Edna Keeling, Paul Scantland, Charles Scantland and David Scantland.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary McGill; his children, Thomas H. Scantland Jr. (Doris), Judy Wood (Kevin) and Tamara Scantland-Adams; and his grandchildren, Wesley, Jeremiah, Jillian, Caleb, David, Carol, Joseph, Joshua and Amanda. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kraft Funeral Home (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
