Bette Ruth Rupp Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 2, 2026, at the age of 79, Bette Ruth Rupp of Clay City, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Dick" Hayman and Henrietta Hayman of Clay City; and her sister Linda J. Hayman. She is survived by: her husband James Rupp of Clay City; her children, James Rupp Jr. (Stacey) of Columbus and Marty Lasure (Kris) of Columbus; her sisters, Mary Huffman (Steve) of Terre Haute and Edna Myers of Indianapolis; and her grandchildren, Owen Rupp (Emily), Mallory Rupp and Garrett Lasure. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Throughout her illness with Alzheimer's, Bette showed a gentle spirit and quiet grace.
