She was predeceased by: her mothers, Dixie Barnett and Helen Barnett (Winters); her husband Rev. Mel Sorensen; her son David Sorensen; and her siblings, Ronnie Barnett, Terry Barnett, Gene Barnett and Charles Barnett.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Brown (Scott), Jen Cooper (Steve) and Brian Sorensen (Kati); her daughter-in-law Lisa Sorensen; her grandchildren, Tim Sorensen, Chris Sorensen (Nicole Zizic), Mindy Sorensen, Jessica Kimmel, Erica Stark (Landon), Matthew Kimmel, Daniel Sorensen (Hali), Zack Sorensen, Emilee Nicholson (Isaac), Raelynn Cooper and Caden Cooper; her great grandchildren, Lucas Sorensen, Bridget Sorensen, Cooper Manker, Maverick Sorensen, Emerson Sorensen, Saphira Sorensen and Jaxxon Sorensen; and her siblings, Elaine Adriano and Cecil Barnett. She is also survived by many extended family members, parishioners, and friends.
