He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Ruby Chenoweth (Carter); his wife Margaret; his son Justin Chenoweth; and his siblings, Don, Charles Chenoweth and Geraldine Bunton Cohron.
He is survived by: his children, Roy William Chenoweth Jr. (Susanna), Ruth Pipher, Lola Stainbrook and John Chenoweth (June); and his close friend Freida Jones of Coal City. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
