He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sarber and Mary Sarber (Ellsworth); his wife Doris Lorraine Ewers; and his sister Sara Bridger. He is survived by: his sons, Randy Sarber of Plymouth and Roger Sarber (Marie) of Claypool. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A devoted member of the First United Methodist Church and the Lions Club in Claypool, Jim made significant contributions to his community.
