He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert "Bob" and Imogene Powell (Barlow); his wife JoAnn Duggins; and his brother Barry Powell. He is survived by: his children, Robert Powell (Stephanie) of Loogootee and Shannon Elliott (Ryan) of Clayton; his grandchildren, Christina Rayhill (Cory), Ashleigh Smith (Ethan), Annalise Powell, Andrew Powell (Sara), Morgan Elliott and Evan Elliott; his great grandchildren, Hudson, Dominic and Violet Rayhill; and his brothers, Michael Powell and Darryl Powell (Molly).
