He was predeceased by : his father Jackie D. Birge Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Arnold Cummings; his daughter Lea Cassady; his stepchildren, Rebecca Gregg (Eric), Nathan Cummings (Lisa) and Brandee Brock (Tyler); his siblings, Jennifer Ristuccia (Chris) and Michael Birge; and his grandchildren, Samuel Birge, Roman Gregg, Eleanor Gregg, Heylee Smith, Emma Smith and Katelynn Brock.

“I just want Carolyn to know that I am deeply sorry for the loss of Jackie. I am crushed to hear of this news, Jackie was one of our patients in the pulmonary office, and I looked to him like family.
