He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edgar and Elberta May Murphy (Alumbaugh); and his siblings, Dixie Shaner and Paul Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Murphy (Reed); his children, Ann Huntsman (Bryan) and Pat Murphy (Bonita); his sisters, Judy Bolinger and Cindy Sullivan; his grandchildren, Austyn, Ethan, Megan, Alyssa and Corbin; and his great grandchild Ally.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (39 E High St, Mooresville, IN 46158). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
