She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Minniear and Marjorie Minniear (Draper); the father of her children Barney Madelans; her husband Ray; her brother Larry Minniear; and her stepson James Gardner.
She is survived by: her son Rex Alexander of Xenia, OH; her brothers, Richard Minniear (Shirley) of Marion, IN and Wayne Minniear (Marti) of Fountain City; and her daughters, Teresa Martin (Alan) of Powder Springs, GA, Alesia Brumbaugh (Steve Buchholtz) of Overland Park, KS and Julie Whalen (Jon) of Goochland, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home (321 US Hwy 27, Fountain City, IN 47341). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the Willow Grove Cemetery.
