It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Enes Dowdy of Clinton, Indiana, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Enes Dowdy to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis White and Palma Proia White; her husband David A. Dowdy; and her siblings, Herman White, Valaria Kanizer and Valia Ramsey.

She is survived by : her children, Charles Dowdy (Jennifer) of Clinton, Pamela Kyle (Robert) of Clinton, Loretta Johnson (Stephen) of Clinton and Lori Powers (Michael) of Zolfo Springs, Florida.; her grandchildren, Jackson Dowdy, Jessica Crowder (Zachary), Matthew Mullican (Jessica) and Emily Kyle; and her great grandchildren, Reece, Bailey Dowdy, Kirklee Mullican, Harrison Parker, Avery and Raegan Crowder.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Wabash Valley or Parke-Vermillion Humane Society.

“Love to all the family. Having Ennes and David for family leaders certainly must have made all of you kind, loving, energetic people. What a heritage for you. I hold all of you in highest esteem for taking care of Ennes so beautifully. It was and is so much appreciated by all of the family, and especially me. It is fabulous to be at home with loving family, but the time comes when the body needs to relax with help, to make the change to a better life more pain free. God is Good.”
