He is survived by : his wife Karen; his children, Christopher Gerth (Kari) of Lewis, Indiana., Courtney Vercauteren (Mike) of Johnston and Meagan Granger (Marcus) of West Lafayette, Indiana.; and his grandsons, Wyatt Gerth of Lewis, Cooper (Spencer Vercauteren) and Makiyah Granger of West Lafayette, Indiana..
