She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Delaney Jordan and Hazel Mae Jordan (Shuey); and her husband Kenneth Crane. She is survived by: her brother David Jordan; her children, Dorian Poole (Dave), Cecile Locke (Bob), Mary Margaret Rhees (Michael) and Ken Crane (Pam); her grandchildren, Dora, David, Lori, Robbie, Nathan, Jake and Joy; her stepgranddaughters, Jill, Annie, Emily and Elizabeth; her siblings, Letha Mae Clingan, Evelyn I. Monce, Wilbur Jordan, Marjorie Lorraine Eller, Clyde William Jordan, Barbar Jean Young and Opal McCullough; and her siblings-in-law, Woodrow Crane, Margaret Daniels and Virginia Ford. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Frist Funeral Home (458 Blackman St, Clinton, IN 47842). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of Mary Jo's life, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be directed to the Crane Family Community Fund at the Vermillion County Community Foundation.
